Delivery Information

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a customer.
Prices
All prices are in £ sterling. As a small and relatively new company we are currently exempt from UK VAT.
Product Descriptions
We endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are accurate and complete. Errors may occur and these will be corrected as soon as possible or we are made aware of them. Images are usually accurate however colours of packages, bottles, lids and labels may vary.
Payment
Payment can be made by Visa, Master Card, Solo, or Maestro via our secure payment provider Paypal, this uses secure encryption. We do not store any data relating to your credit or debit card details. 
 
All credit/debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and authorisation. We will not be be liable for any delay or non-delivery due to these specific issues.
Invoices
All customers placing an order will be provided with an invoice by automated email. Please contact us by email if you suspect your invoice to be incorrect and we will look at any errors.
Availability
We do our very best to display only products that are in stock. However, occasionally popular products can go out of stock rapidly. In the unlikely event of this occurring we will email you with the revised expected delivery time. If you then decide not to continue with your order then any sum debited from your payment card will be re-credited to your account. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of you informing us you do not wish to proceed with the order.
Delivery / Pack Shipment
Subject to availability, orders are normally dispatched within 2 days from receipt of payment. Deliveries are sent by Royal Mail (UK) and by surface post across mainland Europe. FEDex is used for shipment to USA by arrangement only. A tracking number will be kept in the event of loss or damage.
 
The Green Grocery does not accept any responsibilty for loss or damages that have arisen through postal carriage, but will endeavour to assist any claim that may be pursued. Unless extra insurance is arranged prior to dispatch, UK postal service covers for the value of £41 only.
 
We try to recycle and will send via recycled packaging, unless the customer requests 'new' packaging material.
Returns & Refunds
Any customer is entitled to return a product they are not entirely happy with or to exchange it for an alternative product. The item must be returned using 'recorded' delivery, in an unused and 'as new' conditon and be undamged in any way. Goods that do not meet this criteria will not be refunded. No returns are accepted after 14 days of purchase. Product delivery costs are not covered by this and are non-refundable, and return delivery charges are the responsibility of the sender.
 
Where the reason for returning goods is that they are damaged, in other ways faulty or incorrectly delivered the goods can be returned at our cost provided it has been agreed upon by us prior to its return. If this is not the case then returned goods will not be accepted.
